MAGNA-VUEtmallows you to change resolution based on the patient’s imaging needs.  Your exsisting X-ray table can now become two specialty diagnostic devises.

The small anatomy of  many pets presents a challenge for typical X-ray systems which are designed  to accommodate the largest of pets.  Not enough digital information for small anatomy is captured  to allow magnification.  When those images are enlarged for viewing, they become blurry and pixilated. Important information to form a diagnosis can be lost.

We design and manufacture our own CCD cameras and thus can use any CCD on the market.   All of our cameras employ passive cooling so you will never have a condensation issue.
 

dogThe MAGNA-VUEtmdual resolution digital detector solves this problem by providing two resolutions: a 14 X 17 field with 3.6 lp/mm resolution for large animals and a 6” X 6” field with 8 lp/mm resolution for small animals. The 6” x 6” field yields an image with 2.8 times the magnification of a standard x-ray systems. This permits a more detailed view of bones and other structures of small animals like cats, birds, and ferrets. It is like having a standard system and a specialty system for small animals in one package. To change the mangnification simply push a knob at the front of the table.

ECONOMY AND RETROFIT SYSTEMS:

Where cost is critical, we offer custom single field systems.   The system can be designed to fit many existing tables.   Our tooling allows the field to be 14” x 17” or 17” x 17” (depending on the table).  These systems use either a standard 9 megapixel Kodak 09000 CCD or optional 16 megapixel Kodak 16800 CCD.    The system can be integrated with your existing image processing and viewing software meaning you will have no new software to support.

We offer the only patented high resolution dual field DR x-ray system.    In normal mode the user will get a standard  resolution 14” x 17” image using either a high resolution image of an area of interest, press a lever and the system converts to a high resolution system with a 6” x 6” field.  System can be integrated with your existing image processing and viewing software meaning you will have no new software to support.
