About Us

You’ve probably heard this before:  “We started in a garage”.   MAGNA-VUE is another engineering based company that shares that heritage.  We started in a garage, then took over the basement, then ultimeately built a free standing building with offices, machine shop, and parts and inventory warehousing. Our founder has experience designing advanced optical systems, digital CCD cameras and oscilloscope probes.   You will see that experience reflected in our product lines.

Designed and Manufactured in the US

We have an on-site shop where we make many of our prototype parts.   Outside vendors are used for production parts, but in some cases we may make a production part or two.  Our machines are best suited for making 1 to 5 of any given part.

Our goal is to make products that provide better solutions than what was previously available.   By creating better solutions our founder has been granted 17 US patents.   We take pride in our products and strive to have our parts made locally.   This helps us be a bit quicker to market, and by having close relationships with our vendors, we feel we get better quality parts.

We try hard to be customer focused.    If you are reading this and have one of our products, drop us a line and let us know what you like or where you feel we can improve.   Even if the product came from a distributer and you saw our name on it, let us know directly.  Customer feedback is one of our primary methods for improvement.

Customized Solutions

Our biggest weakness is that we love to build stuff.    We particularly love to build stuff we have not built before.    If you are looking for an accessory that doesn’t exist and it complements our product line, ask us, we might make it and add it to our product line.   If we do so, you might get a nice discount or possibly a complimentary sample.   From time to time we will design and build custom items, or do design work for other companies.
